|Description: ||From a rare series depicting scenes in the life of Sugawara Michizane, a poet and courtier who was later deified as Tenjin, a god of scholarship and calligraphy.
Here Michizane is seen composing poetry under the autumn leaves. Also shown is the procession of Emperor Daigo, who exiled Michizane towards the end of his life.
