Description: Kuranosuke Toshimitsu, who served Akechi Mitsuhide and who killed Oda Nobunaga in June 1582, is seen dismounted and leading his horse. He is without his helmet and seems to have jettisoned parts of his armour during his fight. The blue on his armour is silk lacing - Japanese armour was made up of large number of flexible plates, bound together and overlapping like snake scales.
