Description: Imagawa Yoshimoto, in full armour, seated on a camp stool by a stout fence to which a standard is lashed, giving directions with his saihai.

Condition: Minor repair to top of yellow cartouche, upper right otherwise very good.
Impression: Very Good
Notes: Imagawa Yoshimoto was a daimyo of the provinces of Suruga and Totomi. In 1560 he attempted to seize Kyoto with 25000 warriors. But on the way through Owari, the province of the Oda clan, his army was defeated in a surprise attack by Oda Nobunaga, who fielded a mere 2000 soldiers.
