Notes: Nakamura Bunkasai was an advisor to Shibata Katsuiye. He received a porcelain vase as a gift from his lord. To show his intention to die with Katsuiye he threw it against a wall and spent his last day together with Katsuiye and his wife, writing poems in the face of impending death.
