Description: Dawn. After a hard ride through the night, Hideyoshi leans back against a pine tree and blows his conchshell trumpet to sound an attack. Shizugatake Hill rises behind him and a huge dawn moon is reflected in the waters of the lake. Hideyoshi is heavily armoured and wears his famous war helmet with its ‘sunburst’ crest which breaks through the border of the design.
