Description: Surimono depicting Benten, the goddess of love and music, with her lute and a rat and monkey holding a scroll. The numerals on the scroll's title slip indicate the short months for the Rat Year 1828. A fukujuso plant in the background. Poems by Ganjotei Shirataka and Tetsujoan Maoni.

Condition: Traces of a previous mounting verso otherwise fine. Embellished with gold and silver.
